Half the world’s population lives without adequate access to fresh, clean water for drinking, farming and sanitation. During long periods of drought and in areas affected by natural disaster, the water shortage problem becomes more serious. But what if we could make more clean water?
We’ve created a desalination and water purification machine called Rain Maker. By mimicking the way the sun evaporates seawater into rainclouds, Rain Maker uses a distillation process to turn any type of saltwater or polluted water into clean water suitable for drinking, agriculture, and industrial uses. Rain Maker makes more than just a little water. One machine the size of washer-dryer set can make a thousand gallons per hour. Unlike other desalination systems, Rain Maker recycles its heat energy making it both a clean and efficient water treatment system.
